What A Mouthful

Hunter the hare wishing everyone a happy (early) holidays. I started off wanting to draw something for an animation practice, but since I didn't seem in the mood for it, I turned it into this somehow....
So what do you guys think? I like the way it came out The only thing that seems to be the main problem in this picture is Hunter the hare's left eye. I should have made her upper eyelid be in a twitching position, instead of bottom. I think the color of her drool needs to be changed too, but I'm too tired to do any editting.

Tell me what you think of the picture I made it to practice my skills on the HTF style, so if I plan on giving me critiques, keep in mind, this is meant to be close to the official HTF style and ideas. ^^

WHY is Hunter trying to eat a gigantic candy cane? Because she LOVES candy canes, of course! If you look at it... it looks like she's trying to either throw it up.. or chug it down... or it's stuck in her mouth, causing her to suffocate. lol
